are rare candys really all that great? in the older games, rare candie didn't give all the points

are rare candys really all that great? in the older games, rare candie didn't give all the points a pokemon could earn naturally. so are they really worth it?

i personally dont think there all that great, id rather just level my guys up the old fashion way, and personally i think they dont give you as much points

I Have actually saved my game...used 10 RARE CANDYS wrote down the stats. Reset my game then leveled my Pokemon (by Battling) gained 10 levels. Then I compared the 2 and the RARE CANDYS make the pokemon weaker. So if you don't want weak pokemon then do NOT use RARE CANDY.

The bad news is you lost in every game you played.
The good news is I saved a bunch of money on my car
insurance by switching to Gieco. (NOT)

yeah, i agree. i just level mine up by battling

Don't be such an idiot and learn to spell right if you're gonna flame.

If you use Rare Candy's to reach level 100 then battle another pokemon of the same species who was raised to level 100 on experience, then you're gonna get your ass kicked badly.

The reason Rare-Candy's don't give as many stats as a pokemon that has been trained is because it won't get the EVs it usually gets from battling.

However if the EVs are maxed (255 per stat or 510 total) then the RCs will increase stats at the same rate as leveling normally.
