I did download the update from one of the links on the official web site (Gamershell i think it was).

You are a because you downloaded it from Gameshell.You are lucky if you didnt catch any viruses.I downloaded some files yesterday,and it was full with trojans.
I even checked the file to be sure on a site which PWizard posted.It scans the file with I dont know how many anti-viruses.

You are correct in that.Why do you need the trainer,when you have "notarget and jump_height #" cheat codes...
But the trainers are good to for the games who dont have cheat codes.
So they are equal.
