Hellgate: London Message Board  

I've tried this a few times to get some better gear in game.
1. go to 1st station
2. get Timmy's leg quest "A Leg Up"
3. kill all the monsters/boss monster in 'Tottenham Court Road'
the KEY here is to NOT search the boss monster's body(there will be a yellow "?" on it, but dont search it).
4. the boss monster will drop some VERY GOOD/Rare items

examples XM107 Firefox Launcher(46dmg+FireField+4mod)[E], Blaze Pistol(15dmg+FireSplash+2mod)[L], Avenger's Phantasmic Reaper(59dmg+SpectralSplash+2mod)[L]
[L]=Legendary item(red)
[E]=Enhanced item(green)

now the troublesome part :P....
5. after taking the boss items, be sure to EXIT game to reset the Quest. by doing so, you can kill the same boss over and over for XP(legit way) and the cool items. now only if there was a quick way to expand my bank....

Subscription allows the bank expansion. Hope they also provide expanded bank for single player some day, or items to expand storage. My main complaint about the game is lack of space. I deconstruct all items that are not rare or legendary...

what do you get when you deconstruct them?(raw materials to upgrade?)

yea.. There are 4 different classes of (Upgrade items)
2 of each type

a Reguler kind and then a advanced of that same thing.

So you have a armor shard and a Advanced armor shard.

Some advice to you guys.. De construct everything you don't need or cant use because later on in the game there are some pretty nifty things you can make with these pieces and you need a lot of them.

Not much of a issue unless your not using the money cheat

Also...... Make sure and see if you can upgrade your weapons armor etc using the forge and also the "Enchantment thingy" Even a couple uniqs i have found were able to put on a extra enchantment.

so since the money trainer works best to probably deconstruct everything youre not gonna use then? good idea!

And you can BUY items from vendors to deconstruct as well.

does anyone know which items will give you upgrade items?(kinda getting those randomly)

All items will give you upgrade items. The number of upgrade items you get will depend on the item level (and may be none). The type of items you get depends on the type of item you deconstruct. Even in multi-player I deconstruct everything I don't use or plan to sell/give to another player (ie: legendary items).
