So play it without cheats then (there are three levels of difficulty) or just put it on the shelf for a month until the trainer goes public. This is the major game release period of the year so I'm sure you won't be lacking alternatives to occupy your time.
I have two question regarding cheats .. but i do not know enough about programming, as i will be asking about a Debug Console and if it was taken out from the Aurora Engine.
The questions are, first some info, we know the game uses The Aurora Engine from Bioware which powered Neverwinter Nights. NwN has a Debug Console, which if i recall was available with the "`" key , although you might have had to set in an nwn.ini file "[Game Options] Debug Mode=1"
My witcher.ini already has this... "So has anyone found a debug console, specifically the key to view it or is the text invisible?" "If so are there any useful commands or easter eggs?"
[additional] I have been looking through the ASCII part of the scripts00.bif file and on line 9541, i have found "Debug:GodMode" and references to "Toggles god mode" but unfortually my ability to work anything more out is limited. Unless someone other than i cant make more sense we will have to wait for a bif unpacker
P.S also the game uses .bif files similar to neverwinter nights. anyone good with programming ? to beable to modify existing .bif unpackers for NwW ? as then we would have some basic modding tools.
you know i remember a time not so long ago when everyone worked together to find cheats for games and helped each other out to mod games, now it seems like the ones that ot really good at it are now just trying to fill there pockets with money and all the help has gone out the window, i will never pay for a trainer that is just a waste of money. Yes it make take some time to find out how to mod what you want done for each game but when you do it is so much more satisfying then just being handed the answer. Plus i have already gone out and spent money to buy several games i am not going to come home and spend more money to cheat, i have better things to do with my money, like spend it on my new baby girl(babies are very expensive, hence another reason that i cant spend money here).
Does anyone know what happened to the days of helping each other out?
If i could find source code for some ".bif" file unpackers for Neverwinter Nights and KOTOR , there is a good chance i could then make a working unpacker for "the witcher" I believe its just a case of knowing the new offsets and different encoding in which it uses as current .bif unpackers will not working properly.
it's pretty strange that there are still no cheats around the web.Usually when a game is released almost the same day,you can find cheats.Except for this one.Is it difficult to make them?Or are the people enjoying the game to much ...At least i know i do,but I realised now, entering further into the game, and the encounters getting more and more difficult,i made a very crappy Geralt

try "bif rip" from: iamtk102.googlepages.com/home
no source code... but it unpacked the bif files for me??
Hey! The time of help hasn't gone. Maybe you're asking wrong questions.
On the subj.: Yes, no cheats are yet available for this game. But. There's a good remedy for a meanwhile. It's ArtMoney. Perhaps for someone it sounds unfamiliar, I'll explain. ArtMoney - is a game-memory-hacker. You can cheat money, experience, skill points, number of items, etc. with it. Just try it as I do all the time if there's no cheat or trainer. With this small program I've made money enough for the whole game; experience (entered Chapter II with lvl 35). Got all talents and made them 150 each, thus learning all skills, except for those opened by mutagens. Lust success was with items. As far as it's hard to keep many items in the inventory, so, regarding alchemic ingredients, I've decided to collect only those with albedo dominant (decreases toxicity). There're 6 alchemic basics, so I've found ingredients with them and albedo, and just cracked with ArtMoney, made 100 of each. Now, no use to seek for 'em. So, use ArtMoney, it's pretty simple. And leave the default settings. PS: The game is sensitive to Alt+Tab combination. So, restart the game after several hacking and of course saving. Good luck.
