I'm sure it's been asked before, but I can't find it, but any tips for the 7* Guild hall quest?

Is this the Ash Lao-Shan for HR5?
He's just the same as the one in the old MHF. I used the Growling Wyvern and attacked his head until area 5, used Ballista, jumped down, attacked his head again until he got to the end, then used dragonater, attacked his head when it was down, left leg when it was up - until the time ran out.
I also had my brother using his Tigrex bow and placing Anti-Dragon bombs on his back, so maybe it boosted up my chances of repelling him.
There aren't many tips for him. Just:
Most likely use a Dragon Element
Hit his head and when you can't hit his stomach
Don't waste time, just attack him until you need to use something.
And maybe my FAQ might work? Not sure since it's different :\

Yeah I ran out of time using sieglinde, but now I'm gonna try and kill Daora's till I get a EldrDragon blood and have the Eternal Strife....

Never mind this topic. I reppeled him 1st try, using the devil slicer. It was incredibly easy.

Aww man....It can kill me in 2 attacks so I can't use katanas as they cannot guard but meh...I'm gonna try and get the Eternal Strife anyways

Get the Growling Wyvern (lance) if you have Plus Class Tickets, and a Black Gravios Shell, then you can make it. I used that to repel him.

Nope, I already used them all...

How did he kill you, hes never killed me apart from the first MFH wen i did him for the first time and got caught by his tail but tht was only once and never happened agen. I used Growling Wyvern untill i got enough Lao Shan stuff to make Fire Dragonsword.
