    Are they easier this time around or are they harder sence i have not faced one yet
    From a gun to a blade its nothing new to me.

    It kinda depends on your weapon type, but they have more "signs" for you to read their movements, so I think they're just a little bit easier.
    MHF2:
    Armor:Full Rathalos Soul U (400, BladeMaster)Full Death Stench S w/B.Piercing(212,Gunner)

    In the village quests you only canquer them together in 6* quests, but for a 6* quest I found it very easy.

    When I did the 2 seperate qusts for the guild hall, I found Rathian easier than Rathalos, but with 'A Troublesome pair' Rathalos was easier.

    Same. And the Pink Rathian was well easy. First time kill, 3 minutes, LOL! It was easier than slay 2 Plesioth! The Azure Rathalos was a bit of an @$$hole but I still beat him with a bit of ease and patience.

    yeah i know the azure rath is annoying but the pink rathian is a push over
