Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Discussion
I seem to have discovered either a flaw in the trainer, or a flaw in the game itself. I had 50 Juggernauts camping the center of the big Tiberium Field in the "Rocktagon" 8 player map, computer enemies were 1 GDI brutal turtle, 1 NOD brutal turtle (which I swarmed and captured all their stuff.) and a Balanced Scrin, spread around the map so it gave room to fight from multiple base expansions. So with snipers, they could launch barrages practically anywhere I needed it.
I built 25 Juggernaut at one location so I could knock down the AA turrets, they're a real pain when you don't want to waste bombing runs to tackle 16+ turrets when Juggernauts can take multiples at a time.
And then I built another 25 at another location, and put them in a formation, and just as I hit SHIFT-F1 on the last five who were approaching... bam.
Error in cnc3game.dat slammed me tight to the desktop in a really frustrating way.
I've tried to recreate the problem, and it always seems to occur using Juggernauts that are bombarding enemies and you quickly SHIFT-F1 them when enemy ground units start attacking them.
It seems like a game bug more-so than the trainer, but I haven't tried deploying 50 Juggernauts without giving them SHIFT-F1 invulnerability.
If I get bored enough I'll try it and update this post.
It worked! I didn't even think of re-installing it! It's gotta be a bug in cnc3game.dat then, not the trainer.
And I bet a hotfix is going to hit us again and make Caliber work too hard again. heh
