I finally got the trainer to working and it works as well as I thought it would. Pwiz was right when he said I would eventually figure it out. I did. I don't know if getting it to work matters all that much though, since I've always had problems with the game freezing up. I added a new 512MB GEForce 8500 and whamo, the game ran great in medium mode for everything, for awhile and then started freezing up and crashing again. This thing for however good it is, is just too powerful for most of our computers but, I don't sweat it. It's one of those games that never get old and you never get tired of playing, so one of these days when I get a computer more than capable of handling this type of game, I'll really get to experience it the way it is supposed to be played. The same things has happened with other games and different machines in the past. I usually just stashed these until the right time came and it always has and, will again this time. Might be as high as three years or more away but, I never quit. I complain enough as all of you know but I don't give up and quit. I just sit back and wait.

Not sure what your comp specs are but it sounds like you have other issues since you say it works for a bit & then freezes/crashes.

A 512 vid card is MORE then enough to run this game. If your Processor speed is above minimum requirements, then I would think its a RAM or overheating issue.

Have you overclocked anything? Post your computer specs.

ur not too right, 512 MB could (with some tweaks) run on High mode, but very high needs 768 ( check with the hardware specs in Gamespot )...
and frankly, i got the game running very good on medium setting with a 256 MB GEFORCE!!! (also a 2GB ram !)...
Without a trace, i am gone...
