Okay now I didn't try anything new but the expansion doesn't affect the max level in the OC. So even if you get 230,000 xp or whatever you need for Level 21 you won't get it in the OC w/o changing something. But for it to work just open the toolset->plugins->campaign editor then change the max level to 30 and the max experience to high enough to allow you to get to level 30 with a +4 ECL character (561,000 if I did the math right), and viola.

Didn't see if you could set it higher on either campaign and be able to get more bang for your buck, but I doubt you could.

Not much point maxing out the epic levels in the OC as then you aren't going to level up in MOTB.

Yeah but A) I felt it was an oversight by the developers, and B) I figured that there might be a few people out there that could continue to earn xp after 20 or even hit 21 or higher during the OC by playing normally somehow...

Figured some people might want to know.

It wasn't an oversight. The OC was balanced to level 20 with the full knowledge that an expansion would be released with epic levels.

Then why were the Epic Levels available in the OC of NWN 1 after the expansions were released? That was why I said it was oversight. Plus, I didn't see that they'd mentioned you could NOT level past 20 in the OC still even after the release of the expansion. Most would naturally assume that if the expansion allows for levels over 20 and that you've installed the expansion and parts of the expansion's features were available in the OC (races/classes) that Epic levels would also be available.

Then again I was just trying to be informative and let people know 2 things, that the epic levels weren't naturally available in the OC, and how to fix it.
