i've beat doom and saved the game when i tried to restart after the credits it put me back into dooms castle why? aand why arn't the new people that i found there when i start a new game?

You always get sent back to Doom's Castle I've beaten the game twice and I get sent to the Sheild extract point it always sends you there.
