As far as I know there haven't been any actual Cheats in any of the other Final Fantasy's, why would they start with this one?:s (not including action replay)

FF V had the critical HP characters + Defending Knight + Berserk trick.
FF VI had the Vanish > Doom/ X-Zone trick.
FF VII had the W-Item glitch, Final Attack + Phoenix/ Revive and KOTR + HP Absorb + Mime.
FF VIII had several money making glitch and card regeneration (player and GF cards).
FF XI had the Black Jack cheat.

Is that enough for you?

I guess it's just stuck with me from Halo 2, when everyone was making up cheat codes and asking for them.

yeah KOG told me about them just yesterday and i opened all of them.
if you dont know what they are,the thing is if you dont open these chests you'll later find a chest with the best wepon in game(power=150 )
