S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Message Board  

Ever since I went to the Lab X18 to get the Mil Docs, I am perpetually dieing of radiation. I was wearing the orange suit before I went… Now I am no longer in a radiation zone (GAP Bar, or Trader Bunker in village where you start…) , and I keep having my rad symbol turn to red. I had to load a trainer to keep my health up just to continue. What happened? Any Ideas…?

take some anti radiation shots or some vodka...make sure you take alot of them though

This happened me to me once. I had been stuck in some kind of Anomaly that sucks you in and smashes you (near some dead tree in Garbage) I managed to escape by sprinting and jumping down the slope.

Anyways, after that whenever I moved I would stop every 3 seconds and then start running again, and I would constantly lose health and my radiation would quickly go up till it was red. I eventually got tired and just created a new game after using a trainer for so long that I didn't have any pre-retarded-game savegames.
Radiation pills and Vodka didn't work for me.

I therefore advise making a new game.

Could it be due to artifacts? I think I recall having the same problem before, and was due to the fact that the artifacts radiation was higher than the suit/other atrifacts radiation protection.

does somebody know how can i get out from X18 after i get the document?
