u catch shaymin at the giant rock on route 224. u dont catch him at the rock, but it has something 2 do with how u get him

yes, after you get oak's letter, prof. oak will appear at that rock and ask you to write the name of the person who has helped you the most in your quest on the rock. Then the seabreak path opens, and you travel the longest straight non-interrupted path in the game to shaymin.
