>_< I really hate it when things like this happen...this season would've been clogged with upsets...
We still have quite a few users who beat their higher seeds, however. And a special note: seeds 46 and 47 are still hanging on!
...in fact, it was so damn good, I'm going to drop from this season's cup. darkish and latios_power, by the rules, won their matches, but Ratchet beat me, and to me, that's what counts. So the score for mine and Ratchet's match was 8-7, but the last 3 votes make it 8-10 in Ratchet's favor.

Edit: Both brackets have been updated. In a shocking vote count, we find that 6 users have defied odds and made it to the 3rd round despite having a seed disadvantage, and would've been 8 counting late votes. These 6 users are
Sophie_Angel (seed 25, defeats seed 8)
Nevermore (seed 21, defeats seed 12)
jane29 (SEED 46, defeats seed 14)
airhead (seed 27, defeats seed 6)
Ratchet_Expert (seed 42, loses to seed 10, but Ryan- drops out to give him the spot)
planbskater (SEED 47, defeats seed 15)
LoopDaLoop (seed 41, would've defeated seed 9)
Night-Ghost (seed 26, would've defeated seed 7)
Though it doesn't sound like much, let's put this into perspective.
Season 1 had 4 lower seeds advance to the 3rd round.
Ryan- (seed 17, defeats seed 16)
raha (seed 25, defeats seed 8)
fishy_joe (seed 41, defeats seed 9, then gets banned)
Latiosmaster47 (seed 20, defeats seed 13)
Season 2 had 4 lower seeds advance as well.
NappyHole (seed 20, defeats seed 13)
yosup (seed 27, defeats seed 6)
Whit3Ghost (seed 43, defeats seed 11)
Neo7 (seed 23, defeats seed 10)
Clearly, it isn't as difficult to win these matches as the matches won by the users this season.
On top of that, this season had 7 of the super-low seeds advance to the second round, with 4 of them (would be 5 with the late votes) advancing again (only fault2k and pokemonlegend actually lost, LoopDaLoop would've won with late votes)
So you see, you shouldn't be discouraged if you lost your match. Just look at how strong this season is.
