What I mean is that all votes after the 24 hour mark are void.
There's a fairly obvious reason. Let's say when it was Obama vs McCain, they had a deadline for votes. So Obama wins the election at that deadline. However, let's say they don't count votes because they're lazy, and extend voting times. McCain wins after the extended time. Obvious that isn't fair there.
Same concept here. With those 4 extra votes counted, we'd have 3 different results, which has NEVER happened before. 3 lower seeds would've made it past the 3 higher seeds, these 3 seeds being #23, #41, and #42. Obviously either side would be irritated had this happened, thus I have to make the decision that when it comes to things like this, rules > exceptions. Sorry for those 3 users, but I've never had this many seeds be judged by late votes, as we usually have only 1 or 2. But 4?
This is why I must encourage that you get your votes in ON TIME.
For those wondering, #23, 41, and 42 are Night-Ghost, LoopDaLoop, and Ratchet, who would've won had the last 4 votes been on time. I understand that time zones may be an issue, so when season 4 comes, I may have to alter the rules a little, such as a rule that states matches last until a new day is posted or something. But I do encourage mods to try and lock topics as soon as the time limit ends.
