Day 8 Recap - Divisions I and VI

With the half-way mark reached during Season 3, Division I celebrated with some extremely close and even matches, with the exception of raha's complete dominance of ghost42 by a full 16 points. forty-two and PWizard were amongst those who won their matches against Jackal and speedemon9 respectively, both winning by a margin of 13-7. The surprise of the day came from latios-power, who won 12-9 over major seed and Featured Author darkish_raven, who is largely popular. In other news, Ryan lost to an otherwise MIA EternalSlayer by a mere 4 points, and Chingy (me) won over dstates by just 6 points. In a dead heat, ho-oh and Latios manages to tie each other up with a 12-12 finish, ensuring that neither could progress in the hopes of being a Division 3 winner. It's shown, too, with Latios now trailing by 10 points and 1 win from top seed Chingy42007.

And now, with half-way here, we can now start to judge and see who will be relegated and removed from the CHUUL come Season 4. here_ye_here_ye seems to have cemented himself in last place with a devastating 8 straight losses and a grand total of -144 points. But the battle for relegation is still very much alive, particularly between danju, Game Keeper and sir_eats_a_lot. It's been very close today for the relegation-threatened, primarily between danju and sir_eats, with sir_eats winning 11-10 over danju. Game Keeper struggled against Division VI contender nailan, and SuperSaiyan4 smashed here_ye with a total 21-0 washout. On the other end of the spectrum we seem to have a 4-way scrap for 1st, with the battle amongst SuperSaiyan4, Elite, jane29 and planbskater, all of whom won their matches today. But with the season half-over, the top seeds will inevitably have to face-off, and from what I can see here, that will be a hell of a match to see.

I'd like to see the match between planb and I, but I have an overwhelming feeling that jane will crush me when we finally face.
