It's based on the difference of the number of votes you get in each round. For example, if you're in a round with a user and they get 10 votes and you get 15 votes, then you would add 5 points to your score and the other user would subtract 5 points from their score since the difference between 10 and 15 is 5. Does that make sense at all?
