I give 3 points for a win. 1 for a tie 0 for a loss.
That's why users with a 1-0-1 record are higher than users with a 1-1 record, and users with a 0-1-1 record are higher than users with a 0-2 record.
Put it this way; shouldn't you earn more points if you manage to get a tie with someone, than when you lose?
