think the reasoning behind that is if you dont do so hot against someone like, say drugs, then in the next round, you'll be matched up against someone less popular in the next round, which should raise your score......or something like that
How are the final results calculated? Because you haven't referred to what I said-
"If you're going to base someone's standings based on how they matched against another person, then I would suggest to not.
I could get a plus 20 if I went against someone less popular than say Drugs. Because I went against Drugs, I got the plus two." (Page 8ish)
thats the point, if you dont score over drugmunky then you arent as popular as him, therefore you go down on the list...

darkish_raven, perhaps you missed my reply. It goes like this...
After voting ends, I count how many votes each user received. Whoever had more votes won.
Day Schedule
Day 1 is basically alphabetical order matches. In other words, I put all users in alphabetical order, and post them in matches based on that.
Day 1 looks like this...
User 1 User 2
User 3 User 4
User 5 User 6
etc, etc.
The days following, I take the second user in a match, and move them down. The bottom user goes up to the top.
This is what day 2 looks like.
User 1 User 16
User 3 User 2
User 5 User 4
User 7 User 6
etc, etc.
For the standings, I update it after every match. The standins aren't official. They're just where you are at. After you've faced every other user, you'll see you're final standing.
Have I been clear? If not, I'll try to do my best to explain it again, but I think this is good enough. Just ask again, if you're still confused, ok?
