does anybody know if you can get both fossils because i wanted to get kabuto but i got omanyte and im pretty far along in the game and i dont want to start over. what can i do??

your stuck with the one you got unless you use my trick which you have to have the following :-
Two games, two red/two blue games or both or lend one off a friend two gameboys or lend one from a friend a link lead about $1.50
now with the game you have taken the one fossile on leave that game for now.Next take your other game and start a new game and go up to the pasrt where u get the fossile and get the oppisite one. Now use the link lead with two gameboys and the two games with the different fossile on it. then go to the research lab so the fossile comes alive then catch a pidgey or something and trade your fossile pokemon with the pidgey and there you go you have the two pokemon. This also works with the judo gym leader with Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee.
