Just got my copy of Kingdoms in the mail today! Looking forward to trying it out. I was a bit bummed to discover that my former no-dvd exe no longer works. I tried the one for Kingdoms but it doesn't seem to work for me. Just curious if there are any out there that do work for M2TW (1.3) and Kingdoms or if there are some rumored to be released soon? DOn't like scrathing up my DVDs... Thanks!
Figured out what I did wrong... Installed over a previously fixed exe so now I did get the Kingdoms expansion to work. Still need the DVD for M2TW though...
Umm, just replace that exe also and then it will work too...
Huh? Replace the 1.3 medieval2.exe with which .exe? The one I had for 1.2 doesn't work. Sorry if this is an obvious/stupid question but I haven't seen anything that would let me know. Thanks.
I replaced kingdoms.exe with the fixed one and all the campaigns worked PERFECT

All my Kingdoms campaigns work just fine, it's when I try to play Medieval 2's grand campaign or just start it that I get asked for the DVD. Do you mean that you can start the Kingdoms' launcher and choose Medieval 2 and not get asked for the DVD? I uninstalled everything and reinstalled (that's how I got the Kingdoms' fixed exe to work) but still get asked for the correct CD when clicking on the medieval2.exe within the folder or through the launcher.
