Ok i got a diffrent version than any one here, its a version through pc gamer, or one of thier partners rather. It crashes with an unspecified error when I try to use the trainer? So where can i get a no cd for this that will make it work, even though i dont use a cd for it either way... And if that dosent work what else can I do. Ive re installed it and I really dont feel like doing it agian. Oh yea and I forgot, ive tried opening first then opening the trainer. Nope. Ive tried saving a game then closing it and opening the trainer then opening the game. Nope graphics error that time. Then I tried opening the game and choosing the save game loading that then opening the trainer... Nope unspecified error. Im running a X1950 pro XGE with an amd 4300 and 1.5 gig of ram on XP sp2.

Im guessing your running MT2 Kingdoms as your in this forum. Goto Megagames.com and look under GAME FIXES, Find the game in the list and get the FARLIGHT NOCD EXE v1.3, Copy/Backup your original EXE before you apply the NOCD EXE.
Again the process that worked for me was.
1. Fresh install from original CDs for both MTW2 and Kingdoms 2. DONT apply any NOCD EXE until all games have been installed. 3. Apply the FARLIGHT v1.3 NOCD EXE to the game after Kingdoms has installed. 4. Run game (Be looking at a campaine map). 3. ALT+ESC to desktop then run the trainer, then go back into the game.

I seem to be coming across a very odd problem.
The trainer works perfectly fine, except for the Max Chara Skills option, which seems to affect both me and the Computer players.
Im running an un-cracked retail version of original and expansion
any ideas?

Same for me, so i turn it on, click on the units then turn it off, if i click on AI units it maxes them out also, and if i run a turn then most of them get maxed out.

not sure what you mean but this is the instructions:
* Maximum Character Skills - You also need to be on the World Map and select Units that are not currently in a city. Be careful with this option! It affects enemy characters as well! Best method is to turn this on, carefully select your unit, then turn it off to avoid affecting other characters.
you have to be careful in selecting the units. don't let the mouse go over anything other than the unit. if your mouse goes over the enemy unit while this is activated, they will be affected. be careful!
