You might find more frequent crashes - especially while saving the game - with the trainer on. I've found that a few ways to counter this, is to:

#1 - Make sure that not much graphic detail is being used up at the time of save (Squat and look down at the floor before saving)
#2 - Don't click Save Game immediately once you get to the Save screen. Give your computer a few seconds or so to free up some processing power to save the game.

    =) Hope this helps.

Hmm. Noticing ALOT of crash to desktops with this new combination of v1.0004 and the v1.0004 trainer. Don't know what's the problem yet.

i played for nearly and hour on my notebook (XP) with the trainer and the patch World Wide version retail and noticed no problems. Not sure what could be your problem. I did not write any "out of bounds" values to the game, which likely caused the SAVE problems in the previous version(s). It's possible that holding WAY TOO MUCH INVENTORY *could* cause crashes if the game doesn't take into account that much inventory (the inventory amount writes over the estimated space that the game reserved for it?) but I doubt this. At any rate I had nearly 200 pounds of stuff in inventory and it never crashed.

The armor bar is above the life bar. If you don't activate the cheat then when your armor takes damage the blue bar decreases. The armor option removes the damage and raises the blue bar. If you don't believe me then turn on life option and nothing else and then start a new game and then shoot one of the stalkers at the beginning and let the others shoot at you. You will see the armor bar dropping as you get shot. then press the armor option and notice that it rises up.

however, we DO appreciate the feedback and strive to make sure there are no problems. right now i do not have enough info and cannot replicate the problems here.

    best,

I'm using WW, tried with both no-cd and original exe. v1.0004 for game and trainer. Erm, I guess I DID forget to mention that the crashes only happen when I actually go into the save game menu, and I click "save game". Direct crash to desktop, most of the time with no error message.

Yeah I DO have alot of stuff in my inventory, but...lemme check how much i'm carrying.

I only have like 154 pounds of stuff. =/ Hmm. Maybe my graphic options are too high? Shouldn't be though, experiencing very, very good framerates at my current settings which are default. I'm gonna try again with all my graphical options turned down.

Oh so THAT'S what the blue bar is for =D Erh...so what happens when the blue bar reaches 0? 0.o.

Okay. I guess the problem is on my part, as in it's probably that the default graphical settings are okay if run alone, but with the trainer it makes the game crash. I seem to be getting no problems so far with all graphical settings at low. Maybe it's my processor. It seems to be running pretty hard, fan spinning alot louder then when at idle and all. Should have spent the money on a QX6800 instead of a QX7600 >.<. Damn.

Turned everything back up to maximum except for Anti-Aliasing which is still at minimum. Still no problems saving. It was probably because of that.

    OMG?!?!

Yo Caliber. Just noticed something. If you are currently radiated e.g. there's radiation in your body, and you go into the inventory screen, your health still drops. LOL.

I was standing on top of the railway tracks in the Zone level, and was fiddling around with my inventory. Noticed the red bar dropping, but didn't think much about it. Then suddenly I'm dead. HAHA. OMG. This was even with the No Radiation Damage option turned on.

Hell luckily I had the good sense to save my game before that.

Managed to reproduce it even if I'm far away from a radiated area. So long as you have radiation on your body, your health bar drops when you enter the inventory screen. It immediately rises back to maximum when you exit the inventory screen though.

Did more testing, and found out that even gunfire affects you while in inventory. Shot at stalkers at my base, and went into inventory screen. In a few minutes I was dead. 0.o.
The moment I leave my inventory screen everything went back to normal, but while in inventory you still can get radiated, and you still can get damaged. Just thought you might wanna know and see whether you can reproduce this as well. =) Not too much of a problem though, just gotta make sure that you don't stand in the middle of a firefight to fiddle with your inventory (which you shouldn't be doing anyway 0.o). Don't bother with it too much if you don't have the time to. =)
