I bought the gold edition, but when i start after the loading screen active window pops up and nothing works anymore.....

well you could try installing a new grafics card driver

well i done that (updating my card driver etc.etc. that is) befor i installed the game, but it doesnt help. the activemovie window keeps popping up, and it freezes.... without any error mssges. ooh and i even try'd the -nm command in the command line but then the activemovie pops up when loading a campain or anything els in the game....

Well here are a few common problems:

Not enough memory on the computer

Altred "descr_strat"

Or a really effective scratch

either way uninstall reinstall and play if that doesn't work
call a helpline in the back of the manuel

if it "not enough memory" you could try this

a - Go to Start/Accessories/run command prompt (the dos box thingy)
b - Right click on the link, hit "Run as administrator"
c - Now copy and paste: BCDEDIT /set increaseuserva 3072
d - Hit enter and restart.

this should make your game and any other games with a memory problem to work

hmmm found it the problem was windows media player... (had windows media player 11) but i removed media player and it works fine now thx for the help
