i have found that trying to start the trainer after starting the game just doesnt work. i cant get back to my desktop to get to the trainer. would this be because i am using a copy that was packaged with oblivion? does that even make a difference?
I too cannot seem to get the alt tab to minimize my game.
Is there a trick to get the alt tab to function?
I tried, just for kicks, running the trainer first and then starting the game. I get the activated voice over, but the cheats take no effect on game play?

I have the same prob myself. I have the 1.1 patched ver and 1.1 trainer
I finally got it to work. Normally it I couldn't alt+tab out to open the trainer and so it never worked but I figured a simple way to make it work. First open Task Manager. Than start your game and put Continue, or if New Game if you want that. Once your in game press Esc to go to the menu. Now press alt+tab and now it will work and go to Task Manager. Now just open the trainer, close Task Manager if you want and go back to the game and the trainer should work. Hope this helped. Good luck.
