There are two sides of WOW.

The Alliance - Basicly a noble and organised warrior and mage organisation who's only purpose is to destroy the horde.
They are presented strictly to be on the side of good and light.

The Horde - Presented by Blizzard as more of a Clan of different races. Fighters, mages, but unlike the alliance,small amount of paladins. Made more complex by the membeership of the Forsaken (Undead) the Horde are a mix of good and evil. The choice depends on the player.

So witch would you prefer?
The alliance? -
Or...
The horde? -

And by the way...

My vote goes for the horde.
Reasons:
1. The best characters are there. (for me at least...)
2. The Horde gives a good amount of choices on character detail.
(You can choose between good and evil)
3. I play with a tauren Druid and I'm not dissapointed at all!

Your take on the different factions is remarkably accurate. If were talking about lore, I absolutely love the lore behind Uther and the silver hand (and later the scarlet crusade) So Id have to say alliance. If were talking people, Ive found that the horde players take the game a bit more seriously (a bit, meaning just that, a bit) it almost makes me wish I had rolled horde instead of alliance as my original main.

As for your English, its much better than the English of the majority of the members here, you have no reason to think its not very good.

It has allways been like that.
Before the Burning Crusade and after.
Me and a few of my friends play with horde characters on the
"Burning Fusion" WOW server and we've asked, and been asked, weather the expansion "Wrath of the Lich King" is going to change that.

Most people we ask there say that if its been that way since November 23-rd 2004 when the game was released, it will stay that way.
But we didn't get many ansuers anyway.

I don't feel like making a new Topic so I'll ask this question here.

What do you think?

jus wanna clarify that horde aren't exactly the bad guys or anything. they might have a bad history, but in WoW, theyre pretty much the same as alliance in that they both hate the scourge. as for the undead theyre actualli known as the forsaken which has broken free from the scourge's control and also wants to elimintae the scourge

If you read my first post carefully you will see that I have made that clear.
The forsaken are undead, a rebellion against the scourge - yes but still undead. If you have played as a forsaken you will hear in the interlude as the nerrator clearly says that they use their membership in the horde as if they use a tool to make their evil schemes a reality.

The walking dead are evil and Blizzard make that clear over and over and over again.

The forsaken are a way for players to express themselves as eather independant or capeable of everything (sort of...).

There are as many races in the horde that are good as there are evil.

Presented as evil: Forsaken and Trolls (sort of...)
(the interlude says they were though...)
Presented as neutral: Orks (there is a BIG standpoint here)
Presented as good: Blood elves, Taurens.

That's how I see things.
P.S. I play FOR the HORDE! Witch means AGAINST the ALLIANCE!

hmmmm 9i just got wow but my opinion is alliance all the way, they have much better cities. BUT, the horde is cool because they have cool places, and the undead get to eat people! (well warlocks at least)

Horde forever.
It's my opinion (corrupted, perhaps, by the long hours of escaping ?? gnome rogue campers). I don't really think Horde is evil, and I don't think Alliance is good. In reality, their fighting is mostly based of territory disputes. Here's the full chart of each race's issues

Alliance:
-Humans are expansive and selfish
-Dwarves want to take Horde lands so they can dig it up for artifacts and useless stuff
-Gnomes are straight (except for the fact that they're 3-foot-tall DEATH MACHINES)
-Night elves want to regain immortality, which is bad. Their last attempt at regaining immortality was a flop
-Draenei are straight (except for the fact that they have friggin' tentacles on their faces)

Horde:
-Orcs are straight. Their will to fight can be satisfied by duels and the pursuit of martial mastery. Through generations the Blood Curse will one day fade completely...we hope
-Trolls hate humans. Isn't that understandable? Humans did loads of stuff to the trolls
-Tauren are straight (except for the fact that they're giant cow-people!)

Of course, that's the end of what I consider the 'real' Horde.

-Forsaken are humans. Dead humans. That means that they're the same as humans but they're dead and ****ed. They're still the manipulative humans they were in life...
-Blood elves are shifty, selfish, and oppurtunistic.
