k i know this comes from the fatalis but by any chance do you get this from the black fatalis's brother? I ve killed the fatalis 3 times now and trying to find this item to get fatalis S armor. i have already the rathalos azure ruby , the pink rathian ruby , and the green ruby. all i have now is the red ruby from the rathalos and the evil eye from the fatalis and im set. So any pointers on how to get Hrd crust ?

I think its from normal Fatalis because the Black fatalis gives you blk fatalis crst. Which is Black fatalis Crust.

ya i think so too. but all ive gotten off him is crust and heavy crust wheres the hard crust ??? by any chance is it rank3 fatalis that has it ?

I don't know. I need it too, but my brother had all the luck and got 2 when we killed him. But I think you get it from cutting his chest open (yes, is possible, and easy, if you ask how you're an idiot) 'cause when we broke all parts of both horns off we didn't get any

Hit him alot in his chest and a piece will break off. When you beat the quest and get your items, you should have the crust. And I am now starting to think that you get hard fatalis crust from HR3 fatalis.
