Ok, i have never before played something so utterly terrible, the AI in original DOOM was better, its buggy as hell, path finding is usless, these guys are getting stuck on bushes! graphicly is actually quite poor even on maxed out settings, yeah textures look good but whats the point if the models are poor? speaking of models, anyone noticed that you cant move over 6in tall objects? or invisable objects, or indeed floating objects, or in the middle of a target area you climb a small easy hill to hit an invisable wall? instead of farting around making useless physX features, which, for that matter, we cant even compare to quad core physics because its locked to ageia hardware only, they should have spent some more time porting it correctly from the 360, hard settings? forget them, all it appears to do is increase the accuracy of there weapons, the AI is still usless, completed it first time around an only died twice, just take your time an you cant lose, regardless of the setting!

waste of £30 if you ask me, save your pennies for crysis!

you said that the graphics are poor, i think they look all right. maybe you need to get a better graphics card or sumthin. But i have been playing this game more and the AI could be a bit better.

ok, when i say poor i should have perhaps said, not up to current high standards, unfortunitly there are no high graphics settings in the game, ive maxed it out an still get 70 odd fps with a 8800GTS

the textures are good, i give them that, but the modeling sucks, no amount of mapping can help a poor model

I like all of it other than the AI being sitting ducks, and it should have been sold as an addon and not as another full game WE GOT PIMPED again by UBI. As far as models they are not that bad I have seen alot worse.' Are you using a single core CPU?? the game is optimised for multi core cpu's, I have been playing this one for a few weeks and it is cool but I realy like Rainbow 6 Vegas now there is some AI to deal with although it has some bugs to like AI spawning right in front of you and AI shooting around corners and guns pointing at the ground and still killing ya OUCH, but the models are awsome and XF are great. wish I could merge the 2 into one game and I will also get Crysis when it comes it looks hopeful, Oh ya and for thoes of you with AMD dual cores there is a dual core optimiser available at AMD site for download that will deff help the FPS and more, it made about a 20fps differance on my sys with 8800GTX 768.

my 2cents worth, .......ok 8 cents

yeah, ive got 4 3.2GHz cores of goodness an a 8800 GTS

The texture mapping of the people is good, i give it that, which does bring them up to something quite good, but the world object models are poor, an appear to be invisable yet unpassable in many places, the geography ie the actual ground is shoddy an is nothing new from HL1, textures are very good, especially when you max out the settings but it doesnt feel like your drawn "in to" the game, still feels like an old gen FPS

u guys really dont get it u got to have a30inch hd widescreen monitor to get the best picture the details show up alot better i played with a piece of crap monitor for a while and the ground texture was flat but now the ground is actually realistic u need the best system too 4 cores is a little excessive ive got 2 with 4.3mghz and an 8800nvidia graphix card the picture is best with top quality monitors guys i mean it

by the way each ghost recon is a novel written by tom clancy he wrote like 50 of them this is only like the 7th one he wrote

are you running native res on a 30in screen 2560 x 1600?
or are you running Native FULL HD res 1920 x 1080 or Native HD 1280x720?

Because my "crap" monitor thats less that 30in will do 1920 x 1080, which IS HD res

you than say that you need the best system to play it, yet "4 cores is a little excessive " make your mind up? which is it? better system or overclocked to the buggery dual core?

i dont deny you need a decent system for most games, what im saying is i can MAX out this game, and encode a DVD at the same time whilst getting 35ish FPS, and as i said, the textures are good, its the models that are crap, its shoddy work and not worth the money.
