crashing on Medieval: Total War PC Message Board - Page 1

i have installed the game... i know its old and quaint but i love it... and now... when i`m trying to play it, after it loads the campaign map and is just about to enter it... it crashes... it says that it needs to close... just like that... after a bit of testing.. i`ve managed to load the campaing map after setting the resolution of it at the same resolution as my desktop... but after a few minutes it crashed again... same error... any help would be very welcome

this may sound technical and a bit weird seeing as the game is so old but your RAm might not be up to spec. You should look into getting 2Gb of RAM and it will run like a dream.

I had this problem, I managed to fix it when I re-installed windows if thats any help

I have a Nvidia card and have had to set the antialising to 2X in the Nvidea Control panel
