Supreme Commander Message Board  

I have downloaded Trainer 1.1.3255 for Supreme Commander and followed the instructions implicitly with all Frak and AV turned off during game play as per the readme. I even tried 2 different methods of load (Game 1st then Trainer and Trainer 1st then Game.

On starting a new Campaign and when selecting any shift-A thru G a voice says "Activated" but nothing else happens. I continue to get blown to bits, Buildings take forever to complete and I do not get increased Energy or Mass.

Any bods got any advice

The trainer does work fine. Are you using the retail or Direct2Drive version? (those D2D games are notorious for not working with trainers). Are you using XP or Vista? If Vista, run both game and trainer as Administrator and you can also try XP SP2 compatibility mode. If you're hearing the voice but no action, then typically something is blocking the trainer from accessing memory or the memory locations are in the wrong spot.

and nuclear missiles do kill my commander

Thanks PWizard for your reply - Its a retail version (not D2D) I am using on Windows XP professional SP2. If the memory locations are in the wrong spot, how can I find out and fix it? Besides Firewalls,Anti-malware and Anti-Virus which have all been deactivated for the game is there any other programs that might use this memory spot? 😵

I've seen multimedia keyboard/mouse software interfere with the trainer. If you've tried running it from the game folder and also tried running it after the game instead of before the game, I'm afraid there's not much more advice I can offer. Trainers can be difficult beasts sometimes and won't always work for everyone's configuration.

Thanks again PWizard. It looks like I will have to break with tradition, be honest and play without cheating which is not easy for me even when I play in easy mode.

Don't use the trainer. Use cheats. =D Simple. Haha. Well personally I'm using Vista and I haven't tested this trainer. Am trying it now.
