Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Message Board  

Ok Iam kind of sick of playn this game online cus most of the time i play not even 5 minutes in to the game some retard desides to atack me with a dozen predators,or any other mid vehicle and like 10 or 20 rocket scuads. I dont know how the hell they do it but it sure is getn irritating. Some one tell me please a logical explanation.I would love to play a decent game and all but this is too far

You like many are the victim of the "rushing" strategy which involves quickly building a ton of low level vehicles and infantry and then attacking you in mass in hopes of catching you off guard while you concentrate on establishing a base or worse teching up to get to your heavy hitters. If you like to "turtle" (stay back, build you base and tech up) in this game and your opponent likes to rush you will be at a disadvantage nearly every time. Quickly constructing base defenses will help somewhat but if your opponent attacks with enough units they can be easily overwhelmed. Harvestors and refinerys are usually prime targets because they will directly harm your economy. Losing your refinery early in a match usually spells game over unless you are playing in a team.

this has happend to me a few time untill i started doing the same thing back just building cheap units like Swarmers with Shock troopers or w/e they are called. i
I have had the misfortune to encounter a hacker who had built 14 sonic canons in under 2min, i had stormed his base he already had ion canon up full base defences and 15Mamoth tanks with bout 12 jugernauts and 30sum odd predators i as u can guess lost very abruptly(and this was all in 2minutes not possible w/o hacking ) u might be enountering one of the 2 problems but dont give up stay outa ranked 4 a while and do Hard Comp stomp till u get the hang of the "rush" tactics and figure a way around them. or join the ranks of the "rush tactic"
