ive reach a point jus b4 the league an im leveling up, i have a scyther and wanna trade it from emerald to emerald so it can evlove and wen i attempt to do that i get a small window that says " this pokemon cannot be traded yet" 🤔, wen attempt trade pokemon from that version it works normal.. how can i allievate this problem...?

i noticed that it tends to pokemon from older versions caught in emerald the give that problem... i got all eight badges but havent gone to the league yet, if there is a point where i can trade older pokemon how far or how close am i or wat i gotta do to reach that point??
