Kinda rediculous and extremely hypocritical that you're starting to literally charge people cash to use your cheats when your own site claims it isn't about that at all.

I'm just wondering when a nice smooth checkout system will be implimented so we can get microtransactions going on trainers and cheatcode.

Capatilism at it's most noble.

99.99% of the content on our website is free to everyone (even our detailed Featured Guides which other sites like Gamespot/IGN make you pay for). Occasionally when an older custom cheat is requested and we spend the programming money to have it created, we reserve it for our paid Unlimited members which support our site and help to keep it going. If we were charging to download every cheat, then you would truly have a case to complain. Without the support of our paid members, none of these cheats would be created in the first place, which ultimately benefits no one.

Thank you very much for supporting the requests for the update. Any way the new trainer can be upgraded to the full functionality the mega trainer offerred? If not, I would like to request that the full wargear for the campaign option be added if possible?? Thank you a whole lot!

Not sure about IGN but GameSpot do NOT make you pay to read Guides, the least you could do with your argument is not make things up to try to prove your point.

I think it's just a shame, I was around when sites like this were nothing more than a few people who got lucky finds and shared their knowledge.

Telling people they have to give you money to enjoy these finds (whether they were difficult to be coded or not I've never heard of paying for trainers before in my life) is completely destroying the spirit of which your "business" was founded on.

To be honest I'm just bitterly dissapointed that you make people commit themselves to you guys for a year just so they can get an extra bit of fun out of a game they bought.

Support shouldn't be compulsary, by saying "you can't have this unless you pay" is taking away peoples CHOICE to support you.

The bottom line is that things change and we have to adapt to those changes in order to survive. Back in the day where "sites like this were nothing more than a few people who got lucky finds and shared their knowledge", it didn't cost thousands of dollars a month to host the website for millions of visitors. It didn't take multiple people working more than 40 hours every week to support and maintain the site like it does now. The website turned from an inexpensive hobby to a full fledged business therefore it required a sound business model in order to be sustained.

We've tried very hard to maintain our original goals and keep as many things free as possible, even though it costs us time and money to have a lot of it custom created. Nearly all of the content we pay to have custom programmed is released to the public. A very small handful, like this Dark Crusade trainer, are reserved for our paying members as a value added part of their membership and also to encourage others to sign up. There are actually other sites out there that charge as much as $9.95 a MONTH in order to download trainers that they have created and otherwise. I feel that our $14.95 a YEAR is a very fair price for all the hard work that goes into creating this content, supporting it, updating it and maintaining it throughout the year.

What we've done is elevate the trainer making process for those people that desire this more premium service. Previously, trainers were released by anonymous 'hacking' groups with no website, no email, no support. It was take it or leave it and too bad if it doesn't work. We provide a place where users can come and always get high quality work and we provide support and fixes to those that have problems. If you don't find that our services are worth the money we're asking, we provide free tools to create the trainers yourself.

The reason that we offer a yearly membership instead of pay-as-you-go one-off trainer purchases is because the majority of people don't just play one game a year. We create over 50-100 custom trainers every year for all the biggest titles and many of the smaller ones. A membership is really required to take advantage of all that we offer, such as ongoing support, trainer updates (which could number 5 or more for a given title over the course of a year) and fixes. We may at some point change this model, but for now people are happy with it and it's providing us enough capital to continue operating the website and having these custom cheats programmed.

And yet, the only thing I want from your site is this trainer, and I have to pay $15 or $35 for the "privalege" of you hacking an existing game that I already had to pay for, hell you could even buy the game for what you're asking.

Whatever reasons you use to try to quantify this, all you're doing is alienating the people who were here from the start and allowing people with more money than brains better service than those who aren't willing to whip a credit card out for a cheat code or trainer.

Sounds like you're just moving closer and closer to a "needed business model" which will require everyone to pay you money on a regular basis so that they can access any worthwhile content.

There was a reason those anonymous groups did it, and it wasn't to make a quick buck. Enjoy it.

First of all this is not the thread/board to complain about memberships payments or any such thing. (atleast i did think this was thread for the 1.2 trainer)

But anyway to the point i would also like to see the Wargear and Requisition options on the trainer if you have some extra time for it
