First off, I'd like to know how the heck I am expected to beat that freaking Lao from the Urgent quest in the Gathering Hall " Giant Dragon Invasion " which you need to beat to get to HR 3. I have absolutely no one to play this game with, I've gotten this far by myself and no matter how many time I try, which is about 8 times, I cannot beat that freaking quest on my own and trust me, I have tried using nearly all good weapons I have. If someone knows wether or not it is possible to beat this on ones own, then I'd appreciate it if you tell me.

I do not expect a single person to answer all of these questions. I will appreciate it if you answer as many as you can though.

Other questions:
- Rathalos Plates: Wtf, impossible to find for some reason. Where and how do I get them.
- Majestic Horns: I'm pretty sure you get them from Diablos, but on what quest am I most likely to get them on?
- Tickets: How many cats do I need to get silver/gold tickets? I'm guessing 4 cats for Gold and 3 for silver, correct me if I'm wrong.
- Thunder Sacs: Need to make Devil Slicer. Where do I get 'em?
- Guild Tickets: Seriously need these. Where can I get 'em?
- Black Blos Spine: Where?
- Monoblos Heart: What's best and easiest way to get?

Rathalos plates-really rare the higher HR rank quest done better chance on getting them + trade veggie elder tickets silver I think to forest and hills area.
Majestic horns-if you had someone to play with do desert tresure quest and get 40000 points to get 2 other wise do harder diablos quests.
tickets-silver 3 cats dismised gold 2 cats dismissed.
Thunder sacs-G ranked khezu (any quest over HR 2)
Black blos spines-black diablos HR 5 do Runaway diablos reqular then you can do black diablos
Monobolos heart-either monoblos will do.

For the Lao problem I would say bring LBB+ with 5 SBB+ then bring monster broth and LBB's and combine them to get LBB+ use a good fire attribute weapon like Blazing falchion or dijjin+ for sword and shield and Barbaroi blade for Greatsword. barbaroi blade go with iron great sword and go to buster sword and then defender and the next fork should be barbaroi blade. bring a demon flute flute+megademondrug Need alchamy skill. then just whip the crap out of him. and you don't have to kill him you just have to do enough damage to him and once time runs out if you have done enough damage he should just growl and waddle away.

for the guild tickets I cant help you on.

Now, about those Guild Tickets.

edit: Damn you MH, I used your FAQ and it was working freaking awesomely till area 5. Can you guess the problem? It was that freaking armor set you said to use, the defense was so low that I died 3 times in less than 5 minutes

You're not supposed to get hit by the Lao-Shan...
That's why I set a low defensed armour with high skills, so you could go under him and stop getting annoyed by his legs. But you could always have different armour, the weapon counts more.

Guild tickets you get by just completing certain urgent quests certain amounts of times. I think that you can also get them in the Training School. But it takes many times of beating the same quest for you to get Guild tickets. Also I think you can get them on some regular quests but they have to be in the Gathering Hall.

I have millions of Guild Tickets and I don't remember how I got them.

Well the way i killed him is by rathalos soul armor with eternal strife

- rathalos soul helment
- rathalos soul mail
- Black Belt vembraces
-rathalos soul tesset
- blue pants S

this is my favorite and best effect armor.


Effect: High Ear Plugs , Sharpening Skill Inc. , Devils Whim

this way you can be wailing on his legs while hes schreeching but alas if your not careful with his feet you can get spanked. also use MH's stradegies like with the bomb + "s and all other than that you should be fine to the point of repelling him if getting his health to a certain point when time runs out.

I used Red Dragonsword (the upgrade Smolder Dragonsword is F*****g amazing) to repel Lao Shan with Diablo Armour for Wind Res, used loads of LBB+s with SBB+ and Dragonator and Ballista

I just did a quest where i got Guild Ticket but i cant remember what it was. I think it was White Hunter HR3 Gclass quest but im not 100% sure. Ill edit this post when i find out
