I would chose fire because for example the starter that u will get is pickachu and u want to evolve it but u can't get a thunder stone until later on but with fire types u can stay in the tall grass and level up until what ever level it evolves and since rock and what ever is emmune to electric instaed of catching more pokemon and if u pked a fire type u don't have to catch anybody except for the second gym wich remindsd me about my fire red.....any ways I pick fire

Probably Fire, because fire pokemon are a lot harder to find in almost any version, while electric pokemon can be found semi early in most games. pls fire pokemon have a great type advantage over most other pokemon
An Electric starter would be awesome. It would force you to raise a strong and balanced team. In D/P/P you would have to have this team built before Gym 1 (Rock). Not to mention the awesome team you could build just around about 4 pokemon if you got a pokemon like Elekid as a starter.
I would rather have an electric starter, for a change. The second Pokemon gym in the games are usually water or flying, and electric is strong against both of them. Also from the limited number of electric Pokemon in the games, and more fire Pokemon generally, it would be better to have an electric Pokemon as a starter.
Three points to all of you guys. I would choose Electric too x3 Pikachu ftw!
