When the Professor told me to choose a starter Pokemon, I chose Treecko because it is awesome, Green, and because I had Ruby and brother's Game Boy so I could trade the other starters to my Emerald Version.

Koffing/Weezing: Always shrouded James with a cloud of smog as a sign of affection.
Weepinbell/Victreebell: Always tried to eat James as a sign of affection.
Cacnea: Always turns and shows his affection via a hug.
