I cannot remember the first word that comes up when you turn on the game, so I will not answer. By the way, I lost the game as well.
Why Sceptile is green, however, I can answer. While in an egg, Treecko was wondering what color he should be. He had a gigantic choice of them, but he decided to choose the bright color of Pink.
Once hatched, baby Treecko was laughed at by all of the other little Treeckos because of his differentity. So, one day, he ate a fellow Treecko baby, and turned green. After the defeat of the fellow Pokemon, baby Treecko gained enough experience to evolve into a Grovyle.
The Grovyle wasnt as big as the other Grovyles, so one day he went on a long journey to the Jungle of Mossdeep. He returned as big as a Charizard, but by then all of the fellow Grovyles that he had left behind had evolved into Sceptiles. Grovyle then challenged a Sceptile to a battle, and defeated it. He gained enough experience to evolve into a Sceptile, and was later caught by Pokemon Trainer lamile.
