Yeah but you need Rathalos Ruby which is pretty rare

if you have beat loa shan in Hr 2 and got some of his Thoracic then you can go to the swamp elder and he will trade you firestone.(there is a slime chance he will give to dragonite ore about every 1/4)

nope, i get them every time time i do a troublesome pair in the swamp hr4, i think... cba to check, and you need an azure rathalos ruby for the shiny rathalos sword

I know I was too lazy to say Azure. I think I'll try it sometime again. Oh and it's the Forest and Hills, not the swamp

I barely get Rathalos ruby from Troublesome Pair.

But apparently you can get rarer items in reward by blocking until the reward screen is up (after a monster is dead and carved) and you have 50% chance of getting rarer rewards. I think it would go well with stroking your pig cause he gives better/ rare items in rewards too.

So Ive heard but it doesnt seem to help me too much.

K I just did Troublesome Pair (HR4) and got a Rathian Ruby. But still no damn Rathalos Plate!!1!
