Some message boards that give the list for carving wyverns say Elder Quest which I get, then they say Hard Quest which I don't get and then some say G Rank which I'm also not sure about what it is although I'm guessing it's simply the gathering hall quests. The "Hard" quests one is what really conduses me, can someone clarify please.

Also I would like to know how to get the Lao-Shan's Horn since don't matter how many time I carve that sucker I don't get any. And I'm trying to upgrade my Eager Cleaver so if anyone can tell me where to get the Pale Bone then thanks. I'm only HR2 by the way.

Hard Quests are Gathering hall 4* (HR1) and 5* (HR2)
Granked is 6* (HR3) 7* (HR4) 8* (HR5)
And to get Lao-Shan Horn you need to break it off on the HR2 quest

Do you have to carve when you break it off, and thanks for the help.

I just checked and there isn't any Lao Shan Lung quest for HR2 in Gathering Hall.

Yes there is, it's the urgent to get onto HR3, but you have to complete certain HR2 quests to unlock Lao, and he gives you some. No you can't get any from carving the horn, you get it in reward

I'm trying to get to HR3 but I can't because I can't pass this stupid Xapture a Live Khezu quest. How do you know when it's ready to be captured.

It limps, then it goes into area 7 (if it was in 11).
Oh and that's where you get Pale Bone from, the capture a Khezu

an easy way to lao shan horn is to keep on hacking (shooting if your a gunner) at his head as soon as you can. If you keep on doing this by the first time he brings his head back in pain you should see that his horn has come off and youll get it in the reward.
