no the spells bound dagger bound longsword etc. summon and equip daedric armor or weapons it says so in the guide and in the spell and equipment data base at gamebanshee.com oh and by the way the best armor in the game is the emperor's robe

you cant put it on it doesnt appear in your inventory

i found that perfect madness armor i8s better than daedric

or after baurus goes to the temple try looting the emperor not sure if it works but worth a try

its not worth a try because it wont let you

So it doesn't count as armor because you can't wear it.
