*hits self* of corse, well pointed out. Also if you don't like taking damage, you could give will-o-the-wisp a couple of swipes and run for a while, drink a potion and go and fight it again. But be careful of the red beam thingy that it fires at you, it takes your health and dose something else (but i forget )
i dont know about health but it drains magicka for me
do a forward power attack on it then just keep doing fast swipes while randomly side-stepping
my guy can kill them in a hit, cause hes awesome
It takes your either /health/magica/agility (depending on which is highest i think) and also takes some points off your skills(a nice pray at a chaple will sort it out) eg. agility/personality/luck/willpower etc.
The umbra sword is one of the best swords in the game. The location of the sword is very easy to get to, but the woman holding the sword is another problem. Head southwest of Imperial city to a dungeon named Vindasel. There are not that many dangers in the dungeon, mostly rats and very simple traps to slow your progress. Woman holds the umbra and she is very tough to stop. You will have to attack her because, she will not attack you. Personal I could not take any damage off of her (level 9). The only way I could defeat her was to slide the difficulty bar sown to easy. She will drop the umbra sword and (at my level) ebony armor. There is also I rumor that she will drop glass armor at the lower levels. Getting this sword early will save you a lot of time leveling up you character. Or you could just go to the shrine and get it, but if you dont do the quest the sword will be weightless.

I swear i said this before to someone, you can find the daedric armour only at a minimum level of 20, you will usually find it on the corpse of dead daedra so just loot them, and if you dont feel like fighting the daerda do the quest in the dark brotherhood, where you have to assassinate the members of the abandon house, a guy in there has some on just loot him for it.

You learn it from experence of playing the game, you find things that the guide couldnt possibly tell you, just get it in to the game a little more and you will get the hang of it.
