im wondering how to find world edge island to get mew.

We currently don't have any Pokemon Emerald trainers, cheats or editors for PC. Premium members may REQUEST new trainers and cheats using our request system as long as the game has not been permanently retired or multiplayer only in nature. Use our message board to discuss the game.

You have to go to a Nintendo Event and obtain teh item "Old Sea Map" and then the ferry in Lilycove will take you there.

or

You have to cheat the item "old Sea Map" and then go to the Lilycove ferry.

But if you are going to cheat in the first place, just make it so Mew appears in teh wild.

Mew in the wild wont obey, so its best to go to the island.

I think that Mew still doesn't obey you if you go to the island...But I've never tried it, thats just what I've heard.
