Just take your best shield and sword, my suggestions, deadly battle axe, kirin bolt indora or expert sword. Take some mega potions, potions, blue mushrooms and herbs, max potions (mega nutrients and dragon toadstool), life powders, ancient potion, nutrients honey and dragon toadstool, whetstones, power talon, armour talon, power charm and armour charm and antidotes. for armour i would suggest soul rathalos, kill the rathian first as it can be well annoying, it is easy to take of the tail so you should do that first, and then fight them as you would a normal rathalos and rathian
hey missed you if you havent found out or have read yet i did find out how to play online just go to "online play" that is a topic i made and it will tell you all about it but keep reading the other posts because i made a mistake but fixed it

Ok. Here's what I did: I got these armours/ weapons:
Thundertip -- Sword Saint Piercing Diablos Mail Diablos Vembraces Vprey tasset Cephalos Greaves S (or any leggings with Torso Inc)
Altogether = High Wind Res + Hunger [x1.5] -- Items: book of combo's: 1, 2, 3, 4 Mega Nutrients (5) Dragon Toadstool (5) Flash Bombs (5) Flash Bug (10) Bomb Material (10) Mega Potions (10) Max Potion (2) Mega Juice (5) <- very important because your hunger will stay up then Farcaster <- have a rest when you get in a VERY sticky situation Powercharm/ Powertalon <-\_ I used powercharm+talon+armortalon Armorcharm/ talon <-/ Mega Demon drug Potions (if you can(10)) And anything else you'll want/ need but I did it with all them. ---
The quest: You'll need to get used to the area, and get used to the monsters and tactics. I recomend getting Rathalos first because he's more in the way & stronger & more annoying than the Rathian. Attack the wings, cut off the tails, break pieces of their heads, break their claws and DO NOT get them enraged at the same time. Use one as a shield for protection from another, and block when needed. They're weak spot are their wings. By the way, good luck, you'll need it.
ha ha thanks MH your the best but i also would recommend taking ancient potion over the mega nutrients more easy but the other tips will surfice thanks
