Need for Speed: Carbon Message Board  

The official launch date is 31-10-07 (10-31-07), which is on Halloween. But that's in the USA only and EA say that the majority of limited editions for ProStreet (like Collector's Edition for NFSC; Black Edition for MW) for the USA will be sold by hand at the launch venue.

For the rest of the world, the launch is scheduled within the first week of November.

The RX-7 was in Carbon...So, why are they announcing it??

well i dunno, maybe they wanted it like that, its probaly the main car of the game so maybe thats y they announced it.

Would sound pretty weird and be quite embarassing for EA if a new racing game has been announced with no cars. >_>

lawlzers... what would we race with? miscellaneous items or what? :P
