    The new game, subtitled Pro Street, focuses on players becoming the world's greatest street racer. The press release mentions fully customizable cars that you can fully tweak and tune for maximum performance. It also gives us a few tiny details about the damage system, noting that "every dent, every scratch and every crumpled body panel is a battle scar, proof of your commitment and competitive mettle." The game is also slated to have a "revolutionary online mode," though no concrete details are given. Need For Speed: Pro Street is scheduled to release this November.

    Hard to say. In every NFS the physics engine in the game has been completely re-worked. I've already seen the intensity of the damage, and it needs a VERY good physics engine in order to do that. I think the drifting realism will step up by a coupla notches. So no more 200mph drifting, i guess.

    But i'm still looking forward to the challenge. In my next FAQ (on ProStreet... durh! ) i will include a drift section and ill get cracking on it once i complete the game 5 times or so.

    i don't know why u like drifting at 200 mph but this thing is unreal. in the real world u can't drift at 200 mph. as for the new pro street looks cool but i don't know how would they stuck in an elephant in a rat hole, or more explicit, how they could make such a various game in such short amount of time? it hasn't been a year and these n00bs want to make a various game in just a few months...that sounds awkward don't u think?

    Well, it's not like EA is a small company. They have around 1 million or so game developers. These guys are HUGE.

    And besides, it's not like they have decided to develop it NOW. ProStreet has been in development since the launch of NFS Carbon. And most likely, the game is half-finished.

    And stop calling EA n00bs. How many NFS games do you NOT like? Hmm? All of their games are epic. So what if they develop them in less than a year.

    There's one word to describe ALL of this;

    TECHNOLOGY.

    indeed...you're right.not that they really are n00bs but they don't take in seriously in they'r work, like graphics: in nfsu2 the graphics were made to witstand even the best graphucs card like the nvidia geforce 6800. actually we are the n00bs cos we barely know something about making the game or the programs they use. all i know is the tactic of making a game. i think u know too, right?
    well these guys think they hit the jackpot unlike some other game company like piranha bytes who had a economy problem, but i really like they'r games too. and about ea i think they wanted to hide they'r real work in exchange for some junk like carbon or nfsmw because nfsu2 is made with a lot of effort and that means that they really cared about they'r work not like now.but i tell and i told u this before, if i had a team of my own i'd really make these games to stand high in the ranks of games as the eifel tower stands high above paris...actually not even from the tip of the tower u can't see the end of the city
