Ya me too but my most preffered weapons are the GS. Bowguns are good if u dont have a good sword to use or if u dont like close combat fighting.

I love GSwords cause they block good and they have great attack
I personally prefer Sword and Shield. Better blocking, faster/ lighter, faster combo attacks and loads of them have an element
But it takes longer to kill the monster

All-together, every melee weapon does the same amount of damage to a monster. 'Cause I killed a Lao-Shan with a Sword and Shield faster than a GS
