do u have any shinys? or what other shinys are in the game?
Any pokemon can be shiny, its random, and theres an infinite number of them just like there is wild pokemon, but the chances of actually getting on are really really poor I don't have any on my current game, but i once made a whole team of shiny's just for fun
the chance of getting a shiny is about 1/8134 or something like that, i haven't checked in a while.

how? dosent it only boost up the level, not the stats?
like the attack, hp, special attack, etc.. like.. when for instance.. im just picking a random pokemon umm.. like pikachu.. if they normally get like 3 hp points when they level up, then when i give them the rare candy, they only get like 1 hp point or something..
it's kinda hard to explain.. so sry if it's confusing

i played 457 hours the first shiny i saw was a maril but it ran away in the safari zone, then i got a shiny spinda (green, yuck)
lol 457 hours?!?! that's more than me! hehe.. green spinda=yuck green color=yay! lol

haha.. yeahh.. that's why finding a shiny trapinch is soo hard
