So far pretty good but I'm only to the first planet so far. Looks to be 100% the same as KotOR with more feats/powers/etc. and the addition of alignnment specific prestige classes. Story doesn't feel quite as good as the original so far but that could be just that there aren't enough hot jedi chics hanging out with my character yet

This game is very well done. My only complaint is that I still after almost 11 hours don't have my lightsaber yet (they even flashed one in front of me and I didn't get it..) But other than that the graphics are almost identical, yet alot smoother, the story does need a little work, but not too bad. It's just hard to live up to the emmense 1st game. But it is a must buy still.
How do you shoot the devil in the back? What if you miss?

You'll be 14th or 15th level before you get a lightsaber if your planet options don't effect it. I went to Dantooine after Telos, and got all the parts to build my lightsaber at the end of the Dantooine missions...along with a boatload of cool crystals and saber mods.

I'm having fun with it, although it bugs me that some of the dialogue options seem unavailable after specific points.

e.g. You find out something about Aton and then can't ask him about it if you don't immediately bring it up, despite the fact that he's just woken from being unconscious and you've let him out of a cell (which hardly seems like a time to ask someone questions, as all your other dialogue options point to hurrying out of Dodge).

There's also a will that you can't seem to turn over to the proper authorities on Dantooine after a set point in the missions there. No reason is given, and some treasure is actually lost in that particular case. And I really couldn't care less about Atons problems, but being deprived of actual rewards because of a nonsensical timing issue seems like poor design on someones part.

Also, not unlike the first game, your party will occasionally fail to follow you to an objective because they get lost or hung up on a rock. This pretty much sucks. You shouldn't ever start a gunfight with the lines:
"Guys, I need backup! Guys? Where the...argh! I'm hit!"

The good news is, the game seems to have no problem with you switching party members in combat for a lot of the sequences. If you ever find yourself alone in combat and getting pasted, check your party selection screen and see if you can get your party in the fight. I've encountered 2 points thus far where this happens. I have no idea why the game bothers seperating you from your party if you can just add them back in at will, but it does.

Good game, just takes a bit of patience at some points. And after Telos you'll have the only hot chick required. ^_^ The Handmaiden is a beautiful butt kickin' machine.

This game is great! It is, in my opinion, is better then the first one. It starts off a little slow, but then it picks up and it is crazy fun. Why is it better then the first one: 1: There is way more force powers. 2: Way more feats. 3: Fights look brilliant. 4: Very fun and interesting story line. 5: The game takes at least 30 hours to beat. I highly reccomend this game to any Star Wars fan, or to any RPG lovers like myself.

I hope I answered your question.

Yeah this game is better than the last one. First off, it's longer, or at least it seems longer. Secondly the choices between the dark and light side are a little more complex now. I'm not saying that good and bad aren't clear still but they're not as clear. There are a lot more ways to customize your jedi as well, and the modifacations and skills are a lot more intersting too. Especially when it comes to your lightsaber. Or you have a viable way (like I did) to go with Blaster Pistols all the way. After all "Ancient weapons and Hokey religions are no match for a good blaster pistol." The game is more complex, and with influence and such you can have an almost entirely different game every time you play depending on the choices you make. The only thing that still bugs me is the fact that, if I decide to become Sith, I can not hunt down every last memeber of the Republic and slaughter them. I guess sacrifices have to be made. All in all though it's a fantastic game, and well worth the price. I'm not sure it will be GotY again but it's a strong sequel.

OK I HAVE BEATEN THE GAME AS DARK AS YOU CAN IT WASN'T AS FULLFILLING AS I EXPECTED BUT IN REGARDS TO THE INCOMPLETE STORYS LINES IF YOU GO COMPLETELY LIGHT OR COMPLPETELY DARK YOU WILL HAVE INCOMPLETE STORYS AND IF YOU STAY IN THE MIDDLE YOU CAN'T COMPLETE THE TOMB ON KORRIBAN....WARNING!!!! ONCE YOU GO BACK TO THE REBUILT ENCLAVE ON DANTOIEN AND THEN LEAVE YOU WILL LOOSE ALL CONTROL OF THE EBON HAWK FOR THE REST OF THE GAME AND ONCE THE PLAENTS ARE FINISH YOU CAN GAIN NO MORE LIGHT OR DARK SIDE POINTS YOU ARE STUCK WERE EVER YOU ARE THIS I DIDN'T LIKE BECAUSE YOU SHOULD STILL BE ABLE TO TURN BACK FROM THE DARK SIDE AND SAVE SOME OF THE SITH LORDS.....THATS ALL I WILL SAY BUT I AM NOW PLAYING THE LIGHT SIDE TO SEE IF IT CHANGES I WILL UPDATE AT THAT TIME.
