It may take some time for a game like this to come out on PC, just like Halo 3 it may take some time, just because Playstation and xbox want to make as much money out of GTA$ as possible before it is formatted on PC.

They haven't released a full map yet, but its going to be bigger than VC, but not as large as the SA map as a whole, id say it'll be roughly the size of 2 SA cities, but that's just a guess There are a number of fan-created maps based around screen shots and video.

As for the cars and bikes its to early to call. There wont be any plains (due to the size of the map and the fact its based heavily on new york) but there will be helicopters (which has been confirmed)

no news is good news is not really the case here, although I have a few small bits of info to break the cycle.

    * One of the billboards seen during the demo advertised "Shark Credit Cards," while others advertised "Pirate Music" and "The Whiz" ("The Whiz" is the type of phone that Niko uses.)
    * The HUD is described as "minimalist to its core." There is a mini-map, a "low-key" cash counter, and they say that the HUD in general looks more clean than in previous GTAs.
    * The magazine states that Ammu-Nation no longer exists. A lot of other magazines spoke about new methods of obtaining weapons, but until now, none of them actually confirmed whether Ammu-Nation still exists.
    * The rocket launcher will return (what would a GTA game be without one?)
    * A fare meter appears on-screen as soon as Niko enters a cab, and the camera pans around it as it drives.
    * The little green guy on crosswalks is crisp and clear.
    * Clothing in GTA IV is described as "customizable, and also realistic." So no more leopard cowboy hats we presume?
    * On shooting, the magazine states that: "the cover system borrows elements of Gears of War, and Rainbow Six: Las Vegas." It also says that "the aiming is a Resident Evil 4, over the shoulder style."

Nope, there's a 360 version, and a PS3 version, the only difference being graphics (I assume) and the access to downloadable content on the 360. Otherwise, there both identical.

    More news for ya.

    * There will be several different animation sets for breaking into a car, so far we know one of them includes Niko breaking the glass of the window with his elbow, then starting the car using the injection cables. We know there probably isn't a lot of different other ways Niko can do this, but we suspect it will involve dynamic animations, and for instance Niko sometimes becoming suspicious in the middle of hotwiring a car, looking around to see if anyone suspects what he's doing, then continuing. Rockstar previously said they want the animations to look less "canned", so this would fit well with that goal.
    * According to the article, Rockstar are using less non-realistic elements than previous GTA games, such as arrows and markers assisting and indicating things to the player. We already know the in-game mobile phone will play a big part in replacing some of these things, so perhaps we might see other helpful gadgets such a GPS system, though that is just speculation.
    * One of the ideas going into development is to give every street in the game a name, which could be displayed on-screen when you enter it by foot or car. This feature is yet to be decided on, along with the previously revealed information piece about Rockstar still deciding whether the entire city will be accessible from the start, or if different areas will be inaccessible by way of cordoning off bridges and such.
    * When R*'s Dan Houser was asked about the differences between the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, he replied saying that it is their goal to have none, and that there are no platform preferences, both are difficult to develop on. For now, we take this as to have nothing to do with the extra downloadable content.
    * Speaking of which, he further says that they're not sure what exactly will be offered through additional content downloads. He says that maybe some things will be free, and others offered at a price.

"By all means we'll only do things that really serve the game. Simply pulling 5 dollars out of someones pocket - that's to cheesy for me."
-Dan Houser, Vice President of Rockstar Games

There will also be a pc version.

Apparently Rockstar is complaining about the limited capabilities of the X-Box 360. They're complaining that the Blu Ray discs on the Playstation 3 can hold way more data resulting in a better game with better graphics and a longer game. I didn't care much about the Blu Ray technology until I heard that. Thankfully both versions are going to be "very similar" so the Playstation 3 won't get a way better version.

and to answer the question, there will be clothing customization as of now. However, its still unsure if you'll be able to change your hair or facial hair.
