I have to admid that I played career with a muscle, the dodge challeger maxed out for drift and acc. (oversteer, no grip, all to acc) it worked nice. however. my supreme records in the game go all to a tuner. yup thats right. I raced 8 round agains 11 hard opponents for 30 minutes, on the TFK Wars track. whit out useing nos (its was active though) and had a massive persuit of 1:39:52 HOURS! with a bounty of 14.303.500 dollar, scruwed 373 cops and escaped the persuit with all wheels spiked for 20 min. with maby 3 full tanks of nos used. not more.
I know some(all) of you did better. but for me, its a wonder. and seen the massive amount of tuner hating, its even better.
BTW I used the most expensife tuner for this. a nissan gt somethingsomethingsomething. tuned for acc and grip with oversteer.
My opinion: exotics: why to slow, becouse of thier low acc. and even a worse handling. hate it all super cars are exotic Muscle: great, nice acc, and the handling made me change my nickname from 'captain crash' to 'Death on wheels'(this is more of a joke, I crashed a lot. calling myself captain crash. but after I tuned my challager, I thought: thats realy a Death on wheels. becouse of the wheel blades and the car's size and shape ) tuners: great, you just need the good peformance settings. just put every thing on acceleration, oversteer with grip and you got your(my)self a nice car.
ps, sorry for my bad english. also some word are wrong becouse I don't know all car names ect.

Try doing a pursuit that goes for 2 or 3 hours. That was my longest. Such a huge relief when I managed to escape.
And exotics are all rounders. I don't find them slow. Handling is hard and the acceleration isn't the best. But all in all, I like the challenge.
Here's my two cents; tuners are meant to conquer muscle cars and exotics at tight cornering and tracks that have intricate turns, specially in a track scenario. Typically with the right aero kits, you can upgrade a lot of the cars to have sufficient downforce to replace tuners, but as far as I remember Carbon know no such thing.
The unfortunate thing about Carbon is that the map is rather big and there aren't enough straight ways that allow muscles and exotics to pull away.
Exotics are meant to have higher speeds. They tend to have a slight tip of horsepower over torque. They are great for long distances on a highway because their higher top speed can help create distance.
Muscles have higher torque to accompany the high horsepower. They give faster acceleration, but doesn't guarantee as high of a speed as its exotic counterpart. Tracks that require fast exit speeds or a more aggressive approach is suitable for muscles.

I don't know if it's just because of my career started with tuners, but I'm pretty sure not, but Carbon is nearly MAKING you get a tuner for Stacked Deck (or whatever). Like 3/5 or 4/6 (not sure) of the cars you unlock when you obtain Stacked Deck teritories are tuners. They want you to take those hard corners with tuners.
